Ammonia emission from dairy cow buildings; a review of measurement techniques, influencing factors..

Ammonia emission from dairy cow bulldings is estlmated to be 28% of the total emission from Dutch agriculture. The purpose of this study is to make an analytical inventory of ammonia emission data of dairy housing systems and to asses possibilities for its reduction, based upon the analysis of processes and factors involved in the production and volatilisation of ammonia.
